ABOUT GLORIA
Gloria Tang, a singer/backing vocalist/songwriter/lyrist learned to play the piano at the age of six from her mother, a piano teacher, who was her earliest and most influential inspiration as a musician. As a key member of 'M.I.F.F.', Gloria gives 'free' music lessons and 'free' concerts.
With the belief - “Everyone in this world can have a chance to experience music”, Gloria uses her magic key to unlock the most tighly closed hearts - young victims of 2008 Sichuan Earthquake.
It stands for "Music is Free Foundation" - We believe that music can be without a price tag, we give lessons to students who are passionate about music. They can pay HK$1 or any amount that they can afford/feel comfortable to pay. I see that through music and action, people can be connected in different ways. This is important since we are not educating people, we only want to inspire them to do want they really love, to pursue their dream!

I feel good and relieved everytime when I finish a song! That's what I want.

Q3:How did you first get in touch with the students from Sichuan Province Beichuan High School ?
Q4: How was the time that you were with them?
Thanks to 'Breakthrough', the NGO focusing on youth development, which introduced us to the students in Sichuan in the year of 2010. I still remembered the first time we met in Shatin, they told us they went to our show "We Make Proud Music" and they wanted to invite us to go to Sichuan to guide and teach the students to create their own songs, to express their feelings after the earthquake.
We had a lot of unforgettable experience, especially in those time that we were living together, singing together, eating together, laughing together and crying together.
We are so happy to see each other every time and it doesn't really matter what we do with them but we are together as one! We see each other every half year now since they are busy studying in University.
Gloria and her companions - a team of music experts brought their skills and love to Sichuan.
